The Troubadours showcases have been presented monthly for 18+ years at local Boulder venues such as the Fox Theater, Trilogy, B.side Lounge, Shine, The Laughing Goat and The Roots Music Project. Troubadours Alumni include such acts as Gregory Alan Isakov, Megan Burtt, Daniel Rodriguez, Clay Rose, Sturtz, Paul Kimbiris, Dechen Hawk, Thom Lafond, Max Davies, Toni Oswald, Alexandra Schwann and Kate Farmer among many others.

Clay Rose: Clay Rose is the frontman for the Boulder-based roots-rock band, Gasoline Lollipops, as well as the zombie-death polka band, The Widow’s Bane. Whether he’s collaborating with Denver’s premiere ballet company, Wonderbound, showcasing other up-and-coming songwriters as part of his monthly residency at Roots Music Project, or simply rocking out theater’s across the front range with his award-winning band, Gasoline Lollipops, Clay is sure to be performing somewhere in Colorado, as he has been for the last 20 years. https://gasolinelollipops.com/about/

Max Davies: Max Davies music has been described by Guitarist Magazine and Guitar World as: "Vivid", and "Quite something". His most recent album of prepared guitar instrumentals, entitled: Inventions For Broken & Prepared Guitar was lauded by guitarist John Frusciante of the Red Hot Chili Peppers as a collection of "really good ideas". Throughout his 30 year career, Davies has released numerous eclectic solo albums and been featured on many collaborations and live performances. Davies has performed and recorded with Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth, Lydia Lunch, and Grammy award nominated songwriter Gregory Allen Isakov. He has been featured on the BBC, Centre Pompidou in Paris, the University of Colorado, E-Town, Swallow Hill, the American College Dance Festival, Western Washington University, Naropa University, and he was a contributor to the Everest Awakening compilation to help Nepalese earthquake victims. He has produced music and performed extensively with Fast Speaking Music and The Poetry Project in NYC and he has worked with Janice Lowe, Steven Taylor of the Fugs, Junior Burke, poets Anne Waldman, Eleni Sikelianos, Cecilia Vicuna and numerous others. His music has been featured in many films including the award winning adventure film Valley Uprising and Dick Rude's Quit. Davies has worked with: the late Native American artist/activist John Trudell, Clark Coolidge, Clay Rose/Gasoline Lollipops, LAPCAT, Swiss rapper Knackeboul, He performs regularly with his wife Toni Oswald and The Diary of Ic Explura. Toni Oswald: Toni Oswald is a writer, musician and artist who has performed and shown her work across the Unites States and Europe. She has released four albums under the altar ego The Diary ofIc Explura & performed with Max Davies, John Frusciante, Josh Klinghoffer, Anne Waldman, Thurston Moore, Lydia Lunch, & Johanna Went among many others. Her publications include The Oyez Review, Bombay Gin, Heroes Are Gang Leader’s Gianthology, Zani UK, Shame Radiant, & Tattered Press. She is currently working on a novel about a girl clown set in the 1950s entitled The Gorgeous Funeral, as well as a collection of short stories set in Los Angeles called Dying on the Vine. Her first book Sirens, was released by Gesture Press in 2020.

Ramaya Soskin: "Blending echoes of Iron & Wine, Jeff Buckley and Ryan Adams", the music of Ramaya Soskin has captured the imagination of listeners with uniquely soothing cinematic songs. A veteran of the Boulder / Denver music scene, he’s performed at venues such as Red Rocks, the Fillmore, and the Boulder Theater. As a former member of Gregory Alan Isakov’s band he toured with artists such as Nathaniel Rateliff, Glen Hansard and Brandi Carlile throughout the US and Europe. Founder and curator of a monthly local songwriters showcase called Troubadours (18+ years), he is also a music mentor to young aspiring artists.
